I have no set range, but my work includes a wide spectrum of wheel thrown, functional, decorative and individual pieces from mugs, jugs, pictorial bowls, bread crocks and garden ware to some sculptural ceramics.
All my pieces are oven, microwave and frost safe. My work has evolved to favour an abstract expressionist approach to making but my influences are never the less varied, from an early interest in Celtic Art and Art Nouveau to the far-Eastern traditions of ceramics (Korean, Chinese and Japanese), prehistoric art and the North Wales landscape.
The interplay of the basic elements during the process is part of the fascination of ceramics for me and making pots a kind of Alchemy.
